A Hipster Rhapsody in the Country Breezes of Dacun
The breeze in Dacun is light and gentle, blowing across the endless fields, allowing a bustling heart to slow down and find a home here.
This freestanding, custom-built residence nestled amidst the greenery of Dacun, Changhua, was envisioned from the very beginning with “the contemporary life of an artistic hipster” as its core theme.
The light-transmitting glass curtain wall next to the staircase brings the ever-changing expressions of the countryside sky right into the architecture. It resembles a three-dimensional painting coexisting with nature, quietly expressing a yearning for freedom among the grid-like paths of the rice fields.
By striking a contrast between contrasting materials—such as warm stone tiles, wooden grilles, antique bronze gold, and a serene blue—the design perfectly melts the various rhythms of life into its living functions:
Daytime: The natural light dancing over the waves of the rice fields.
Melody: The melodious rhythms of a music salon.
Twilight: The tipsy, relaxing vibe at the bar counter under the evening glow.
Vitality: The dynamic balance of a home fitness space.
Beside this light and gentle countryside field, an artisanal residence that balances both privacy and artistic sensibility has been meticulously refined for the homeowner.
